Privacy policy
This privacy policy describes how Takmed Oy processes personal data in connection with the website www.takmed.fi and client relationships, in accordance with the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). In case of discrepancy, the Finnish version prevails.

2. Data we process
- information you provide through the contact form or by email: name, email address, phone number, company and message content
- contact details related to client relationships and engagements
- any order, invoicing and payment details (not card details, which are handled only by the payment provider)
- technical data arising from use of the website, such as IP addresses in server logs

- responding to enquiries and preparing proposals
- carrying out engagements and orders
- customer service and handling complaints
- meeting accounting and invoicing obligations
- marketing communications, if you have given consent
- ensuring the operation and security of the website
4. Legal basis
We process data to prepare and perform contracts, to comply with legal obligations (accounting), and on the basis of our legitimate interest or your consent (for example, marketing).
5. Retention
Enquiries are kept as long as needed to handle the matter, but no longer than two years if no client relationship results. Order and invoicing data is kept for the period required by the Finnish Accounting Act (generally six years from the end of the financial year). Data based on marketing consent is kept until you withdraw consent.
6. Disclosure and processors
We may disclose data to the following parties to the extent needed to provide the service:
- our accountant or accounting firm for invoicing and bookkeeping
- payment providers for processing order payments
- technical service providers for the website and email
We do not sell personal data to third parties. Data is generally not transferred outside the EU/EEA; where it is, we ensure appropriate safeguards (for example, the European Commission's standard contractual clauses).
7. Cookies
The website does not use analytics or marketing cookies. Data essential for the operation and security of the website may be processed in server logs.
8. Your rights
You have the right to access your data, request correction, request erasure where our legal obligations allow, object to or restrict processing in certain situations, withdraw consent at any time and transfer your data to another system. Requests can be sent to info@takmed.fi.
9. Security
We protect personal data with appropriate technical and organisational measures against unauthorised access, loss and misuse.
10. Right to complain
If you believe your data has been processed improperly, you can lodge a complaint with the Office of the Data Protection Ombudsman in Finland (tietosuoja.fi).
11. Changes
We may update this policy, for example when legislation or our services change. The current version is always available on our website.
