Frequently asked questions

Short answers about what we do, how an engagement works and what it costs.

Takmed and our services

What does Takmed do?

Takmed Oy is a management consultancy based in Pori, Finland. We carry out financial due diligence, business valuations, M&A advisory within the ONEtoONE Corporate Finance network, interim CFO engagements, and cash flow, financing and investment calculations.

Who are your services for?

Owners, CEOs, boards and investors of small and medium-sized companies who are buying or selling a business, raising finance or need CFO-level expertise for a fixed period.

How are you different from other consultancies?

We don't sell ready-made models. We go through the client's actual figures, challenge assumptions and show calculations openly. Behind this is over 15 years as CFO and finance director, so we also see the numbers from inside the company.

In which languages do you work?

Engagements are carried out in Finnish or English. Reports and calculations can be delivered in either language.

Due diligence, valuation and M&A

What is due diligence and why is it needed?

Due diligence is a review carried out before an acquisition. Financial due diligence establishes whether the target's earnings, cash flow, balance sheet and deal assumptions hold up. It gives the buyer a true picture instead of the seller's presentation and a basis for negotiating price and terms. More about due diligence.

When is a business valuation needed?

When selling or buying a company, in successions and changes of ownership, in transactions between shareholders and in financing negotiations. More about valuation.

Do you help with selling a company?

Yes. We prepare the company for sale, produce the sales material, identify buyers in Finland and abroad and support negotiations through to signing. More about M&A.

Working together, pricing and timing

How do we start?

With a free initial review. We go through your situation, goals and material, and propose the right review or calculation. Book an initial review.

What do your services cost?

The price depends on the agreed scope, and you receive a quote before work begins. The initial review is free.

How long does an engagement take?

It depends on the scope and availability of material. A full due diligence takes longer than a single investment calculation. The timetable and milestones are always agreed in the initial review.

Is the material handled confidentially?

Yes. We sign a non-disclosure agreement before receiving material when needed.
